American Classical Charter Academy is a Classical Education school with a specific and well-defined purpose. Read about what distinguishes ACCA from other schools in the Academics tab of this website.
American Classical Charter Academy is right for your child if:
American Classical Charter Academy is not a reform school. If your child is having discipline issues at their current school, they will likely have discipline issues at ACCA.
American Classical Charter Academy is not an academic recovery school. If your child is having academic issues at their current school due to poor study habits or refusal to complete homework, they will likely have the same issues at ACCA.
American Classical Charter Academy is not a typical public school. There is no B.Y.O.D. policy here, and smart phones and other internet devices are not allowed on campus. Uniforms are mandatory. Discipline is rigorously enforced, sometimes requiring parental assistance.

Random lottery held!
STEP 1: OPEN ENROLLMENT
Complete an Open Enrollment Lottery Application. ACCA will begin accepting applications on December 19, 2018, for the 2019-2020 school year. Florida law requires a random lottery when there are more student applicants than seats available in a particular grade. The first lottery will take place on March 2, 2019.

NOTE: Only parents, step parents or legal guardians can submit an open enrollment application.
STEP 2: RANDOM LOTTERY
ACCA will conduct a random lottery using the Lotterease software. This process puts each student applicant into random order. The number of student seats available in each grade will determine how many applicants are sent offers to register. After the March 2, 2019 lottery, you will receive an offer to register or your waitlist status via email.
STEP 3: OFFERS TO REGISTER
When you receive the offer to register, you will have three (3) days to accept the offer which automatically lets ACCA know you plan to complete the registration process. To accept the offer, follow the instructions in the email you receive from Lotterease. If you do not accept the offer, the first person on the waitlist will be offered the seat.
STEP 4: COMPLETE REGISTRATION
You will have FOURTEEN (14) calendar days from the date you accept the offer to register to complete the registration process through Lotterease. ACCA has a paperless registration process, so all documents will need to be uploaded using the Lotterease instructions provided. Families who do not complete the registration process by the due date will lose their student's seat; and that seat will be turned over to the next student on the waiting list.

American Classical Charter Academy handles enrollment through a random lottery system to ensure that every applicant has a fair chance to attend. This year, ACCA will be using an automated lottery system called Lotterease for its 2019-2020 enrollment. This will streamline the process and ensure every applicant has a fair chance to attend ACCA.
When you see the Seal on a school website, you can be confident that your application will be included in the school lottery in a fair and transparent way.
That is because Lotterease is an independent automated lottery system that the school uses to manage their lottery and waitlist. Since Lotterease is an independent system, the school staff do not have the ability to manipulate or adjust the lottery outcome. They must work within the requirements of the system.
In addition, all activity that takes place with your application is tracked in a history log that you can view at any time by logging into the parent portal.
If the school you want your child to attend displays the Lotterease Seal of Transparency and Fairness, you can rest assured that you child will get their fair chance to attend the school.
